The Amish have traditionally made terrific furniture. Their engineering delivers great comfort, beauty, and durability with an amazing economy of weight and cost. This loveseat is made in the Amish country in southern Ohio and is the tallest chair of this type that we have found. The steam-bent back slats offer great lumbar support and a natural fit (as opposed to the excessive curve of many Amish rockers). Your choice of wood for the slats (the runners will be oak with the cherry slats, walnut with the walnut slats). The frame is bent hickory twig (tested to support 700 lbs.) This is a great loveseat for indoors or out, especially with the matching footstool(s?).
